Just to ack that I am aware of these DaVinci patches.

I will not be able to merge them this time (before Aug 17th)

Is there anything we can do or help? There are still 1,5 weeks until 
merge window closes, so some time to do anything needed. Maybe an 
other custodian can help? Please give us any pointers if there is a 
still a chance.

just no time.
