Dear fellows,
I',m developing some features in kernel has 12 months, and one of them are
real-time scheduling with preemptive kernel, it is the Ingo Molnar patchs,
after been applied the patch this feature could be enabled or disabled
during configuration. Could I submitt my modifications of Real-time kernel
to the list for officially been included in the main source tree.

Hi Luis,

What kind of work did you do? AFAIK, Ingo's patches are reported to
work on omap platforms.
I've tried on omap1 and omap2 boards. But I'm also interested in
preemptive kernel and real time scheduling. Can you share your work
with us?

Cheers,

Course I can, but first thing is submit the ingos patch, then add my mods as
another patch set.

What do you need to change on top of -rt? Last time I tried -rt worked
quite well with only small OMAP specific modifications.

Patches that fix/modify/add stuff on top of -rt patch [1] have to go
to LKML with CC to Ingo Molnar, Thomas Gleixner and
linux-rt-users@vger.kernel.org. See

http://rt.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT_Patch#Sending_patches
http://rt.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Mailinglists

If patches are OMAP related a CC to this list (omap open source) would
be nice as well.

Best regards

Dirk

excuse-me all for the white message,
Thanks Dirk this is the exact information I'm looking for.
