Thanks for the update, if possible can you please give us the instructions to download u-boot / x-loader on 3430 SDP using this CSST.
 
We can upload it similar to your 2430 doc on linux.omap.com.

On u-boot:
The instructions in the document in still the same and valid for 3430
also. quick start guide in CSST has details on how this is done.
On X-loader:
CSST now comes with a custom x-loader for nand type devices which will
load 0x40000 sized image from nand offset 0x20000 to sdram and give
control to it. you could "in theory" put CSST's xloader in 0x0,
uboot.bin in 0x20000 and expect it to boot (Note: I have not tried
this yet). image formating information is available in quick start
guide with screenshots :)..

Page above mentions "The OMAP3430 SDP is an easy and cost-effective 
way to develop...". But I can't find any information regarding the 
cost of such a board ;) Any rumor regarding the price for a OMAP3 board?

I cant help but smile at the question...;).... Cost is a relative term
I guess.. but to my knowledge the newer boards are cheaper than the
old boards, but ofcourse, it is costlier than a  cellphone :)..

TI is continuously working towards even more cheaper development
boards to reduce development costs, but I am not the right person to
comment on that. TI FAEs would be the best folks to comment on the
cost and options available.
