I just tested a Roland UA-30 USB sound card, and it seems to work fine.
I wanted to add it to the sound card matrix on
http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Matrix:Vendor-Roland_Edirol
but when I click edit, it says "This page has been locked to prevent
editing."

Can someone add this for me? Or tell me how to add it?

On Ubuntu 7.10 it seems to work fine with playback and with recording,
and when the 44.1/48 kHz switch is changed, the device seems to be
removed and added again with the correct frequency shown in
/proc/asound/cards.
