Hey the list,
Probably a question for Edward, but if anyone else knows:
What's the status of the repacker sub-project?
If I recall correctly, way back, Hans was waiting for someone to offer
some money for a repacker and it was going to be Zam's project; but, all
of that must be obsolete by now. Has any work happened on it since the
ancient version was rendered broken by other changes?
Also, how much work would it potentially be to take the old one and
attempt to fix it to work with recent versions -- not to be a perfect
repacker or anything, but usable? And if the former is feasible, any
tips on where to start?
Cheers,
Isaac

Hello.
The latest update (1-1.5 years old) is that Hans wanted the repacker
to be a commercial option. I am not aware of its current status and
implementation details. I just have long talks in my mail folder and
internal git archive with some repacker-related events.
Edward.
