Wikipedia says Alsa is under the GPL and LGPL ?
Can I use Alsa for recording and playing sound in my proprietary game under
Linux ?

Yes, Wikipedia says this.

Yes.  The ALSA user-space library (libasound.so.2) is under the LGPL to
allow this.
