I have a this card

This is xawtv-3.95, running on Linux/i686 (2.6.22.17-0.1-default)
xinerama 0: 1280x778+0+0

no video grabber device available


and with this card I don't have a /dev/videoX.....
With another card (with chip bt878) my linux work (it created
/dev/video0)...any idea?

A quick search on the net did not bring up any vendor that matches this
id. What kind of card is this?

Besides the generic saa7146 driver you need a so-called extension driver
for your specific hardware. There is no extension driver for your
hardware yet, so no /dev/videoX.

As said above, there is no extension driver for your hardware.
