Hi,
I'm new to the list, but having googled and searched the list archives,
I cant see any mention of the AMD K10 since april and wondered what the
current status is ?

I have just installed a new Centos5 install on a AMD Phenom(tm) 9750
Quad-Core Processor box and am willing to help where I can with
development and / or testing, and can make the box available to the
outside world for others to connect to if necessary.

Regards.
Rob

Status is still the same.

1) no thermal datasheet - no known TControlMAX - we need this because the
temperature it measures is non-physical.

2) Some? Maybe all revisions of Phenoms have some problem with digital sensors.
What is your cpuid of your cpu?

cat /proc/cpuinfo

or even better please mail here the output of cpuid utillity.

Thanks,
Rudolf

   Thanks for the reply Rudolf.

Output of /proc/cpuinfo below. By 'cpuid utility', do you mean the
CPU-Z app from www.cpuid.com ? Unfortunatly the box is a linux install
without any windows in sight and that looks to be a windows only app.
If you were meaning a linux utility, my appologies, and please do
point me in the right direction and I'll happily take a look.

   Regards,

   Rob

Of course Linux one ;)

http://www.etallen.com/cpuid.html

There might be some package for your distro. Should be named "cpuid". Or you can
try x86info utillity with -r as parameter.

Thanks,
Rudolf

   Thanks again Rudolf.

I tried the rhel5 rpm, and also compiled my own from the srpm, but
both are currently dying with a Segfault. I'll try debugging later
this evening when I have more time. Anyway, output prior to the crash
is below.

   Regards,

   Rob

Hi,

It is ok, I will compute the cpuid value from the output you provided earlier.

Rudolf
