Hello,
I am using WinTV NOVA-TD USB STICK with TOSHIBA R500 laptop. When I
connect __only__ the WinTV stick to the laptop everything works fine,
but when I connect anything else to the laptop (USB devices, external
monitor, or even power supply) everything goes wrong and I get a
picture and sound with too much noise (it's not possible to see or
hear anything).
Have anyone experienced similar problem ? Any idea how to solve it ?
Many thanks in advance.

Does it work in windows and/or in another computer?
Does the kernel log produce any valuable input?

Thanks for your reply.
I don't have Windows so I cannot check it, and the kernel does not
produce any valuable input. But I just realized that the problem is
not related to the driver, but rather to the Antenna. Using the
simple/small Antenna that come with WinTV everything works fine, the
problem shows up when using another Antenna which is installed on top
of the building and (maybe) connected to an amplifier, somehow the
signal in this Antenna is weired and once there is another source of
electricity connected to the computer it starts to make problems.
Maybe it has something to do with the ground wire etc.
ciao,
