Current state of the XFi driver?

Hello everbody,

Can someone give the current state of the driver? What are his features, 
what is working?
In what way is it different from the OSS driver?

It depends on the card, but stereo playback with software mixing
should work at most samplerates. Why don't you try it yourself?

Well, I have no hardware yet, so someone else who actually tested
can answer better to these questions.
It'd be really helpful if some one fills up the summary.

Honestly, I don't care at all if anyone will continue working on my
previous driver code, but I have no interest right now...
