Any comments on how different are the two releases? We are currently using
1.9 and need to understand the advantages of moving to 1.11.

You can see the differences by looking at git logs. I do not know if there
is a web access. But generally, it is better to pick the latest version,
this way, you do not see bugs that were already corrected.

There were many changes. Notably fixes for ARMv6. So, you should use 1.11.
