Hello
A question for Jeff.
Q1. Is there a Reiser4 module(reiser4.ko) available for the 2.6.27-rc*
kernel ?, or will there be one made available for 2.6.27x kernel ?
I was looking for one at
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/drivers:/filesystems/openSUSE_Factory/x86_64/
I tried to install the current version but failed.

It looks like the build service is currently hung up on something there.
It's waiting on kernel-source and kernel-syms to finish building, but it
appears to have been waiting a very long time. We're looking at a
related problem internally. Sorry, no ETA for a fix.

Hello,
Questions:
- Any news on getting Reiser4 module(reiser4.ko) built by the build
service going for the 2.6.27.X-default kernel as I would like to use it
again with the 11.1 series (beta) ?
Thanks for all your hard work on the reiser4.ko module.
Glenn

- I saw this at the end of the last [failed] build log.

Hello,
- Is there any progression with this item about the Reiser4
module(reiser4.ko) available for the 2.6.27 kernel in the OpenSuse
buildservice ?
- Could you supply details on how reiser4.ko is compiled/built ?
Thankyou Glenn

The packages are all set again. Sorry about that.
The packages are built using the openSUSE KMP process, where a few
macros make it easy to create a package containing supplementary kernel
modules.
Easier than describing how it works, you might as well download the
source RPM. That contains the patches needed to allow it to build across
multiple releases. I haven't done the work to make it 10.3-compatible
yet and I'm not really planning on it. Since you're asking about 2.6.27,
I don't suppose that's a problem.
