When I try to install OE using the following command I do not see the
packages directory under openembedded directory. Is something broken?
$git clone git://git.openembedded.net/openembedded

No, nothing is broken. It's the "recipes" directory now.

But now how do I build angstrom console-image.
When I run command
bitbake console-image
It comes back with
ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'console-image'

Edit the BBFILES variable to reflect the change.
