Hi,
When I try to run CentOS v5.2 or v5.3, qemu freezes about 2/3rds of
the time when it is booting. Most of the time, it freezes after CentOS
outputs "INIT: version 2.86 booting" to the console, though I have
noticed it freeze in other areas as well.
I am using qemu v0.10.3 compiled from source (with simply
"./configure && make") with kqemu-1.4.0pre1 on an Ubuntu v8.04 host OS.
I booted CentOS with the following command after doing a "modprobe kqemu":
/opt/qemu/bin/qemu -M pc -hda
/home/jdog/qemu_disks/CentOS_v5.3/test1.img -m 512 -net nic,vlan=0 -net
tap,vlan=0,ifname=tap0 -monitor pty -boot c
Please let me know if there are any debugging steps that I can
perform to help fix this issue.
Thanks,
- Joe
