I would like to get out a v2009.11-rc in the next few (=1...3) days.
If you have any stuff that should go in, please:

- make sure to send your pull requests now if you are a custodian.

- nudge the responsible custodian to pick up your stuff.


Tom, I'm especially eager to see a pull request for ARM.

     * Release "v2009.11" is scheduled in 26 days - on November 18, 2009.

Isn't there any communication going on within Freesale? Doesn't the
left hand know what the right hand is doing? Aren't you guys talking
to each other? 

And, most of all, don't you read the mailing list, or scan the
archives before posting?

Yesterday Mingkai Hu asked me the same again in private communication.

And now you ask again.


Guys, please note: It makes no sense to wait for a -rc for any
Freescale releases. IT MAKES NO SENSE. Please see my reply at
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.boot-loaders.u-boot/69680
for an explanation.

And one more thing: rc's happen when they are ready, not earlier.
We will even shift release dates without hesitating a second when
there is still work that needs to be done.


All this release planning is meant to give some orientation, but it
is no guaranteed deadlines with penalty clauses attached.
