The release is tagged 'RELEASE-3.4.2'.

Alternatively source tarballs can be downloaded from:

Should "Linux 2.6.18 with Xen 3.4.x support source tarball" be
updated to latest changeset from from linux-2.6.18-xen.hg ?

It's currently pointing to Linux 3.4.0 release:
http://bits.xensource.com/oss-xen/release/3.4.0/linux-2.6.18-xen-3.4.0.tar.gz

.. and there are many fixes after that.

That would be easy to do and not at all a silly idea. I guess the
current 2.6.18 is perfectly stable enough to replace the 3.4.0 vintage
one so I'll sort it out.

Ian.

A simple changelog with previous release would be helpful, for people
curious about the interest of upgrading, for instance.

I just did some quick testing with Xen 3.4.2 on two different test-setups:

- x86_64 Intel Core2 host with pv_ops dom0 kernel 2.6.31.5
	- Both 32b and 64b PV guests worked OK

- x86 32bit Intel P4 host with pv_ops dom0 kernel 2.6.31.5
	- 32b PV guests worked ok

No issues found in this quick testing.

Hi,
Please share the .config file (for x86_64 Intel Core2) of this new kernel 2.6.31.5.
I wanna give it a try.

Ok thanks Pasi. Have you tested domU<->domU network throughput? Is it working fine with results in Gbs...?

Please tell me the git checkout command to update my kernel version from 2.6.31.4 to kernel-2.6.31.5.
I don't find it in jermey xen/master git repo.

Hi Keir,
What sort of changes has been done to in the newer version of xen-3.4.2. Is there some changelog or any other such document to know about the new features and bug fixes in the newer xen?

Basicly I've been using the Fedora default kernel .configs.. with random

There are lots of little fixes even at the lowest core levels of Xen. I'm
not sure I could make a good Changelog that significantly condenses the
source repository's changeset history. If someone else wants to try for the
next release, they are welcome to.
