Hello guys.
I am not sure what to do.
I have DAP-1353 <http://www.dlink.com> access point with latest
available firmware from vendor.

and adaptor below:

What works: connecting in g mode(didn't check a/b) from amd64 linux to
access point.
Access point is in master mode.(ap mode) I am able to connect in b/g/n
mixed mode

What doesn't work connecting pc to AP in N only mode. In order to
connect I set AP in N only mode.

I get quite a few of those in dmesg:

My wpa supplicant: /root/wpa.conf
network={
    ssid="dlink"
    key_mgmt=NONE
#    bssid=00:1e:58:b4:f6:83
}

No wep or any other encryption is used.


I also tried to connect AP in client mode.  For that I installed hostap
utility.
below config:
interface=wlan0
driver=nl80211
ssid=dlink1
ieee80211n=1
hw_mode=g

Whenever i scan for networks from AP i can see other networks but not my
own pc.

I could see my network from other pc, however, its windows 7  and i
couldn't connect to my pc from it. Possibly windows 7 doesn't recognize
connection as working without properly working tcp/ip network. dunno
about that.

My only concern is N mode between ap and my pc.
What should i do in order to get rid of those " wlan0: deauthenticated
from 00:1e:58:b4:f6:83 (Reason: 9)" messages?
I don't care about "hostap"@this time.

My system: Linux dimko 2.6.32-rc8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Nov 26 14:28:47 GMT
2009 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ AuthenticAMD
GNU/Linux

Driver is downloaded from your site and is roughly one day old:
compat-wireless-2009-11-30(from tar file)
