[Xenomai-help] Installation: scripts/prepare-kernel.sh not return "Links installed. Build system ready."

Hi, 

 

I have a doubt about installing Xenomai, when running scripts/prepare-kernel.sh. 

According to the guide for installing Xenomai at 

http://www.captain.at/xenomai-2.1-installation.php

 

I am supposed to see the following text after successfully running prepare-kernel.sh:

 

Adeos/i386 1.1-00 (newgen) installed.

Links installed.

Build system ready.

 

But when I tried Xenomai 2.3.0 with Linux kernel 2.6.19, and Xenomai 2.4.4 with Linux kernel 2.6.25.11, both in Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS with kernel 2.6.24-27, I did not get the above text, although there were no error returned. 

 

I would like to know why I did not  get the above text. Can I proceed with my installation?

The last stable release of Xenomai is 2.5.1. Please do not start new
development with older releases.
