FYI, a read-only FUSE interface to CLD is being hacked upon.  It can be 
found in the "fuse" branch of the cld.git repository.

Pushed this upstream.

Note it remains listed as noinst_PROGRAMS in tools/Makefile.am 
intentionally, until the FIXME's are addressed and it has reached a 
minimal working state.
