Once again i miss a patch proposal of mine in the patch queue. :(

It is this one: <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.handhelds.openembedded/30654/focus=30656>

Is there something wrong with it? Am i somehow blacklistet?

Steffen

And once again: <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.handhelds.openembedded/30654/focus=30823> :(

Can please someone have a look at this. It is really
inconvenient to work together on a patch over the mailing list only.

Steffen

I'm also experience some problems with patchwork queue at my home network
simple the patchs
don't reach oe-patchwork and from school network it does, that's why there
was previous duplication
of the last patches that I send.
I'm following [1] to config my send email options

[1]
http://git.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/GitTips#Using_gmail_to_send_your_patches

also try in my home network to open the port for smtp, disable the firewalls
(dsl modem, and Fedora's firewall)
But still patch's don't reach oe-patchwork.

Any advise?

If your patches are reaching the list then it is probably nothing within
your control. I think some folks have had trouble with patchwork's spam
filtering in the past.

In any case, it isn't necessary for your patch to appear in patchwork in
order for it to be actioned, so there is no need to worry about it too
much.

There is for people without write access. It'd be nice to grab one of
these from patchwork (in the form that adds people's acks), git am and
git push. But I can't.

That's clear. But when i create a patch suggestion outside my area of
knowledge which needs some discussion and may be some updates it
would be very helpful to do this within patchwork.

Do you say that patches from people with write access generally do not
go to the patch queue?

They also go to the patch queue.
What Tom probably wanted to say is that most people with write access
commit the change themselves (unless it is a patch that affects core
functionality)

OK, that was my understanding too.

So the missing of my patches there needs another explanation.

Steffen

Right. But even then, I've re-grabbed my own patches from patchwork
just to get the Acked-by lines (since frequently I make the change, git
diff > t, insert 't' into my email and put the desc there).
