This is a general driver for cards based on PLX90xx PCI-bridges.
It supports following cards:
- Adlink PCI-7841/cPCI-7841 card (http://www.adlinktech.com/)
- Adlink PCI-7841/cPCI-7841 SE card
- esd CAN-PCI/CPCI/PCI104/200 (http://www.esd.eu/)
- esd CAN-PCI/PMC/266
- esd CAN-PCIe/2000
- Marathon CAN-bus-PCI card (http://www.marathon.ru/)
- TEWS TECHNOLOGIES TPMC810 card (http://www.tews.com/)
This driver has been ported from socketcan of mainline Linux kernel 2.6.34.
Support of esd cards has been added by Matthias Fuchs in linux-next
'rtcan_esd_pci' driver marked as deprecated.

Wolfgang, I purposely emphasize diferences between Socketcan API and
RT-CAN API. I think, that API in Socketcan is slightly better (e.g.
'const' in function declaration).
I'm sorry that I haven't said it previously.

This is a general driver for cards based on PLX90xx PCI-bridges.
It supports following cards:
- Adlink PCI-7841/cPCI-7841 card (http://www.adlinktech.com/)
- Adlink PCI-7841/cPCI-7841 SE card
- esd CAN-PCI/CPCI/PCI104/200 (http://www.esd.eu/)
- esd CAN-PCI/PMC/266
- esd CAN-PCIe/2000
- Marathon CAN-bus-PCI card (http://www.marathon.ru/)
- TEWS TECHNOLOGIES TPMC810 card (http://www.tews.com/)
This driver has been ported from socketcan of mainline Linux kernel 2.6.34.
Support of esd cards has been added by Matthias Fuchs in linux-next
'rtcan_esd_pci' driver marked as deprecated.

Thanks, but it seems we still have a few build issues:
- the PCI IDs used by this patch are not available in old kernels
- the I-pipe patches no longer apply on some stable releases.

OK, this can to be fixed with some "ifndef ..." lines. What kernel did
make problems?

I don't understand this issue? What does it have to do with this driver?

Nothing. It simply showed up at the same time because I had not run the
build test for some time.

Hm, the error message is quite clear:
prepare-kernel.sh: Unable to patch kernel 2.6.33.5 with adeos-ipipe-2.6.33.4-powerpc-2.9-01.patch
But it's dissappointing that a successive extraversion breaks the patch.
Wolfgang.

ppc64 upstream issue. I've remerged here, I'll push an updated patch in
