Hi, everyone,

I'm working on revamping the mlmmj website in an attempt to raise the profile of
the project, improve the development process, and attract more users and
developers. Shortly we should have more current documentation on the web, along
with a publicly accessible source code repository, and a new bug and enhancement
tracker.

To get us beyond the dullness of pure text, I'd like to have a logo. Ideally, it
would remain largely unchanged for a long period, so it would be good to 'get it
right' to start with. A good logo should represent what mlmmj is (a mailing list
manager) and its style (simple, slim, joyful!).

So could you please look at the attached potential logo, whack reply, and let me
know what you think of it?

Thanks a lot!

Ben.

P.S. If you're keen to help with this, or anything else mlmmj-related, please
speak up.

I like the feel of the logo, but I'm wondering where the colors come
from? Are they just picked on random or what? This logo convey to me
simple and joyful :) I can see however that a stack of mail could be
seen as stacking up and thus slow... I'll see if I can come up with a
counter-proposal just to keep things interesting ;)

Yep! I think I associate 'simple' with 'children' so I just did what I
imagine a child would do, and 'picked any and every nearby pen'.

Great!

Mmm. Maybe just one envelope would be better. I thought perhaps having
more than one would give the feel of a mailing *list*, rather than just
an MTA or MUA. Or something completely different.

Sounds good! The Inkscape .svg source is attached if you (or anyone
else) want to mess with that.

Ben.

I like it! I would also like to help out with anything else related to mlmmj
(site, reviewing changes, bug report thingies, maybe some small development
by myself)
