I've searched the internet for PCI/PCIe wireless LAN cards since I
want to build a 300Mbps 802.11n desktop wireless AP with WPA2PSK.
Since mini PCI/mini PCIe wireless LAN cards don't provide a bracket to
fix antennae to my middle tower desktop case, I can't buy mini
PCI/mini PCIe wireless LAN cards.
I can't find any chipset supported by ath9k that comes in PCI/PCIe form factors.

As far as I know, ath9k is the only choice for people who want to
implement a 300Mbps 802.11n linux wireless AP.

Does anybody know any PCI/PCIe product with reliable ath9k chipsets
that are shipped internationally and satisfy my needs? (I live in far
east asia.)

Get a mini-pcie -> pcie adapter card, and use a standard mini-pcie
NIC. The adapter cards usually come with antenna mounts.

Thanks,
Ben

Hi crocket, hi Ben,

Note that I asked exactly the same question a few days ago and did
wonder, too. :(

I haven't found any. Literally no retailer sells 300Mbps 802.11n
PCI/PCIe cards. There is one manufacturer of a miniPCIe card integrating
the AR9380 chipset, but that's all.

Whilst I don't want to make any advertisement, I sure want to help.

So far, the only two adapters I have found which are 802.11n compatible
are either:

http://www.alibaba.com/product-free/111272062/MP2W_Mini_PCIe_PCI_e_adapter.html

or

http://www.hwtools.net/Adapter/MP2H_632458.html

Unforunately, the second shop does only sell the adapter + 3 antennas in
a set with this Centrino miniPCIe card, which raises the price by quite
bit. Either way, I've ordered this and will simply replace the Centrino
card with a new AR9380 card. Let's see how this will turn out. :)

Best regards,

Mihai

Since this question keeps coming up, let me post this directly to the
list instead of sending it to each person who asks. Disclaimer: I
have no financial relationship with this vendor, I'm just a satisfied
customer.

PCI-E 1x slot to mini-PCI-E cards for 1, 2, and 3 RX channels:

Though some of the pictures don't show it, the commenters assure us
that they all come with the appropriate numbers of antennas and
cables.

Cheers,
David
