I'm so used to using ‘hjkl’ rather than the ‘arrow’ keys that I would
like to be able to use them to move around the grub menu entries.
Is this configurable?
If not, has this already been requested, and possibly rejected as
frivolous?
Aren't there keyboards out there any more that do not have arrow keys?
Thanks,
CJ

Maybe it would be a good idea as I even coded a horizontal graphical
menu which obviously needs to use at least the horizontal arrow keys.
Wouldn't a configuration of any key very appreciated? Maybe in a
completely new configuration-design?

it's not as easy as that since these keys can already be used for
hotkeys and it would also require complete rewrite of menu editing code.
Unless someone proposes a way to nicely integrate the both possibilities
(both code-wise and interface-wise), it's rejected. And even then it
feels like featuritus. In any case I won't spend any of my time coding this.
