Hi,
I am saving the environment using saveenv command. After resetting the
board the saved environment is not there. It loads the default
environment.
But if i disable dcache_enable () function call in
arch/arm/lib/board.c it retain the saved environment.
What can be the possible reason for this?

Can you add some information regarding which processor you are using,
where you store the environment (NOR, NAND, ...) and to confirm your
U-Boot version ?
