Hi,
After some kernel update and I've got the following error when I try to
mount .private
setreuid: Operation not permitted
ERROR: Could not mount private ecryptfs directory
same error when I try to re-create encrypted directory... what's wrong?
Thank you

What are the permissions of /sbin/mount.ecryptfs_private? It should
look like this, 4755.
$ ls -alF /sbin/mount.ecryptfs_private
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 18784 2011-12-13 15:11 /sbin/mount.ecryptfs_private*

Well, it's required if you want your non-root user to be able to mount
your private directory.
Otherwise, you can mount it manually by hand as root.
