Hi,

i would just check with the internal guys and tell.
as far i know antenna diversity related stuff is not there in
AR9380. not sure how the theoretical

applies
ccing list

Hi,

with inputs from Felix.

generic recommendations to increase spatial diversity for MIMO antennas:
- an orientation(angle) difference of about 90 degrees
- if signal should pass through a wall orient antennas parallel to that wall.
- when using polarized antennas, orient the fields approximately orthogonally

Of course specifics are very application depentent.

It is possible to use directional antennas.

Wifi is also often used for point to point links, normally single
antenna solution are used for that.

thanks,
shafi

Just as a follow-up,

I'm sure there are many, many books covering antenna and MIMO design
(wifi and otherwise), with a lot of both theory and practical
experience.

I suggest you do a bit of digging in the library and through online
academic journal sites. :)
