Hi all.
I am missing sparc assembler skills.
Do you have any good pointer or recommendations
to learn sparc assembler?
If there is a good sparc book I am also all ears!
Especially if you have a spare copy...
I can follow the basic flow in the *.S files
in arch/sparc/* but I am running short of my
capabilites when I have to write something myself :-(

Hi Sam,
I'm not sure I'd call them easy reading but the V8 and V9 manuals tell
you all about the instruction set.
Freely downloadable from sparc.org
http://www.sparc.org/standards/V8.pdf
http://www.sparc.org/standards/SPARCV9.pdf
http://www.sparc.org/specificationsDocuments.html
Regards
Richard

Thanks Richard.
I already had these - but seems I have to read them more carefully!
