initrd less config file at /etc/grub.d

Dear list,

Do you have interest in adding a file at /etc/grub.d that would create
entries at grub2.cfg for booting without initrd?

I have a working version of a file that does it. I would work on the
file to make it simpler/better if you have interest in adding it to
the project. Please see the file at:

If you don't need initrd, why is it generated at all? The correct
solution would be not to generate initrd when not needed.
But the problem is that because of disk name instability we need to use
UUIDs which aren't supported w/o initrd.
On most distros booting without initrd will fail in any configuration.
