Hey all,

I have a AR-5008 that I use as an access point. While I get excellent
performance with it, any attempt to enable any of the HT capabilities flags in
hostapd.conf causes hostapd to fail at start-up with,
rmdir[ctrl_interface]: no such file or directory
Any ideas what might cause such a failure? I'm fairly certain that this card
should have no problem with HT. Further information included below. I will
gladly try any patches people might want to check. Thanks,

- Ben

That message does not sound like anything that should be related to HT
configuration. Could you please send full output from hostapd when
started with verbose debugging (-dd on command line) and the
hostapd.conf file you used?

I would have hoped that the output here is clear enough to explain why
this does not work.. Please take a look at ht_capab documentation in
hostapd.conf to see which channels are allowed in HT40+ configuration.

Doh. Very sorry about that. Yes, the error would have been painfully obvious if
I had read it. Sorry to waste your time.
