In order to fix i.MX28 EVK touch misalignment in fsl-image-gui build.
See
https://community.freescale.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-318646-3476/Touch+wrong.png

But Perf package have an error to make image build fail
Any idea to slove this

I didn't build the image here but I been building it based in dylan
(master currently) and it should work just fine for you. The touch
should be proper calibrated when using Xorg image by default.

Are you using danny?
I mean, I just created core-image-base with linux-fslc on top of master
and I didn't face this problem.

Hi,
Yes, I use
repo init -u https://github.com/Freescale/fsl-community-bsp-platform -b
danny
Then repo sync.
I'll test again to check the result, thanks your help.

Hi,
Afer use fsl-image-gui-sdk's sd card image, Then the SD Card can't replace fsl-image-gui and
fsl-image-test by dd.
DD command is "sudo dd if= <fsl-image-test-xxxxxx file>.sdcard of=/dev/sdX bs=4M"
Error message list below
Any way to solve this problem?

Looking at meta-fsl-arm/classes/image_types_fsl.bbclass,
generate_mxs_sdcard puts rootfs in second partition. Mainline u-boot seems
to have default setting of /dev/mmcblk0p3 when it should be changed to
/dev/mmcblk0p2 for Yocto.

Hi,
I can't find out any setting to modify boot partition.
According to fdisk check, no active tag show in sdcard partition table.
Put active in partition 1, fsl-image-gui image still can not work so far, but fsl-image-test
can work.

Well so we have some weird here.
If fsl-image-test and fsl-image-gui has different results we might
have a problem. Can you try to change the SD card and try to use a
different machine to write it? The GUI image is much bigger and
depending on the controller it might be an issue. Hard to say but a
worth test.

@ttom tell me what to test and I can give it a try over here.
You can keep the testing emails PVT (IMHO) if you wish

Hi Daiane
Please build 2 images, fsl-image-gui and fsl-image-gui-sdk.
1st, dd fsl-image-gui, that will be work.
Then dd fsl-image-gui-sdk. That will make boot fail.
After that, dd back fsl-image-gui. EVK can't boot again.
(Each dd action, umount /media/disk and /media/Boot first.)
I feel weired. It can boot yesterday. But it work this morning.
Thanks your help.

I was not able to reproduce your issue.
What's your status right now?

Try to find a way to set up Qt or GTK development.
So far, can't make it work now.
