Subject: libxenvchan and libxenctrl dependency?
Date: Wed, 3 Jul 2013 13:56:09 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <51D41F69.60505@citrix.com> (raw)
Hi,
libxenvchan currently depends on libxenctl for the xc_evtchn_*,
xc_gntshr_* and xc_gnttab_* interfaces.
libxenctrl isn't typically (?) installed into domUs and most of
libxenctrl isn't interesting to domUs.
Would it be useful to split libxenctrl into two halfs? A common part
with APIs useful for domUs and dom0, and another part of only interest
to dom0.
The common part would have to have a stable ABI.
David
