Look, you've now posted basically the same question on a number of
different places: on the Xen UserVoice page, on someone's G+ profile,
and even mailed people individually. Anything other than posting to
the xen-devel list was inappropriate behavior. It's not our job to
help you with your project and hold your hand. If you can't read the
xl man page or do a Google search to figure out how to set the weight,
why do you expect us to think you're going to be able to improve the
scheduler -- one of the most complicated and difficult parts of Xen?
Try reading this page and see if it helps you.

1. Don't e-mail privately. Keep xen-devel in the cc.
2. I will be happy to answer any questions that are:
a. Specific
b. Are not easily found in the man pages or using Google.

Ok, I intend change weight in per period of algorithm Credit_2 by formula myself, But I don't know where change !! I read code Credit_2 But yet I'm not sure where change :-( ... then I should change code algorithm for improve Credit_2 ...
are you know where should change??

That's still nowhere near specific enough.
I'm sorry to be blunt, but if that's the best question you can ask, then
either you haven't really made an effort to come to grips with the code
yourself, or you've made the effort and are still completely lost. If
you haven't made the effort, there's no reason for me to make an
effort. And if you have made the effort and are still this lost, I'm
afraid there's not much I can do for you.

I suggest you speak to your M.Sc. advisor. They should be able to give
you this sort of guidance.

Unfortunately nobody can help me here; I want to set weight in per period of migration. I don't know which function must be changed in changing weight and percent of PCPU to VMs.
which function must be changed?
function "burn_credits(...)" or "csched_dom_cntl(...)" or "csched_runtime(...)" or "csched_schedule(...)" ??!

What's your final goal? What's wrong with the current "weight in per
period of migration"? How do you want to change the "weight in per
period of migration"? Why and under what circumstances do you think
changing "weight in per period of migration" would help?
IOW, what is the issue that you are seeing and how do you think your
solution of "weight in per period of migration" could solve/improve the
situation?
Actually, what's the exact meaning of "weight in per period of
migration"? It might be because I'm not a native English speaker, but I
honestly can't understand what such selection of words means applied to
the credit(2) scheduler...
Answering the above question will give us a lot of context about what is
it that you are up to, which is a great deal (or at least a step in the
proper direction) of George's (and others) "be specific". :-)
Regards,
Dario

Hello Mr Faggioli
I read this article: "Optimizing the live migration of virtual machine by CPU scheduling".In this article weight was changed and the result was better. Now I want to do this article and make it better.
I don't know which credit (Credit or Credit2) is used in this article.
would you please help me?
