Hi,

I keep getting unsubscribed from this list rather regularly. Has anybody
else seen similar problems?

Regards,
Carl-Daniel

I've had the same problem when I used to read the LKML in some "read
only" mode. I came my own conclusion that the lists handled at vger
regulary drop the "silent" users for them to keep the sending pool as
low as possible. Now, I might be wrong.

And it happened again. It is definitely not a bounce due to a full
mailbox (there's still one gigabyte available), and I don't get a
notification or warning mail from majordomo either. My mail provider has
"accept all mail" in its settings, spam filters are completely disabled.
It simply doesn't make sense.

Does anyone else with a gmx.net/gmx.de/gmx.at email address have the
same problems?

Regards,
Carl-Daniel

I take my complaint back... majordomo simply seems to be confused. The
command
which c-d.hailfinger.devel.2006@gmx.net
to majordomo resulted in
**** No matches found
but resubscribing resulted in
**** Address already subscribed to lartc

This is really weird. Oh well, maybe someone else has seen this as well.

Carl-Daniel

I get exactly the same thing, plus anything I attempt to post goes to
/dev/null...my address is @ratnaling.org which is hosted by gmail...
Other majordomo's I'm subscribed to work fine though...

Gmail has a "feature" whereby it will not display the same message
twice. As your email is contained in your own Sent Items, it will
therefore not be displayed in your Inbox once it arrives back from the
list.

Maybe they change the message-ID?

Andy
