it seems that Cellink is building the first EDR dongle. It is qualified
and you will find it on their website.

I like to get some of these, but so far I haven't found any place that
sells them. Any hints are welcome.

my Dutch knowledge is almost zero, but paying 69 EUR for two of these
dongles looks like a fair price to me. However I like to buy them in
Germany. Or does anyone from the Netherlands wants to buy them for me
and donate the shipping costs?

Well I ordered one of these yesterday, it arrivied today. I plugged it
in and away it went :-) It seems to work OK but I don't have time at
the moment to test it out properly but doing a 'sdptool browse' finds
my phone.

this is strange. The feature bits say that it supports EDR, but the
Bluetooth version still shows 1.1.

Please do a "hciconfig hci0 version features revision" as root with the
latest bluez-utils version. I am also interersted what lsusb shows you
and what is the content of /proc/bus/usb/devices.

actually it is a BlueCore4-External and thus it should tell us that it
is a Bluetooth 2.0 (or at least 1.2) device. However it shouldn't
matter, because the feature bits are important for EDR.
