That also fixes the problem seen in stable-queue for 3.10 and 3.12,
so it may be a better fix for the problem seen there than the patch
provided by Michael.

That also fixes the problem seen in stable-queue for 3.10 and 3.12,
so it may be a better fix for the problem seen there than the patch
