Why don't you use Dora instead?

I agree, Dora is preferred.

But:

Otavio, would it be our first #FAQ?

I guess not; we can expect our images to build and properly boot. I
don't use Danny for a while so it may need a bugfix but our users
aren't supported to have this kind of problem I think.

I think this is a bug, not something we should deal as a frequent question.

What do you think?

Trying to build Wayland with 3.5.7 kernel, there's no core-image-weston,
what recipe could I use? I tried building "bitbake weston" to include in
my rfs, but it has a configure error because of dependencies.

Attached is my manifest.xml.

And yes, I know it's easier with 3.10, but I have to use 3.5.7. :)

If anyone can give guidance I would appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Randy Krakora

I think it´s the third time Im replying that.

I mean, every time someone is adding a new kernel, or adding his own kernel.........

Does it mean you´re using Dylan?

http://freescale.github.io/doc/release-notes/1.5/index.html#document-known-issues
Weston is a known issue for Dora, I´m sure it will not work on Dylan.

Otavio, is Weston still supposed to NOT build in dora? (I don´t remember by heart)

Take master, - as is - and try Weston
I mean, run this in parallel with your 3.5.7 work.

Only to make sure we can build Weston with latest and imx6qsabresd

master build of core-image-weston fails at configure:

checking for WAYLAND_COMPOSITOR... no
configure: error: Package requirements (wayland-client wayland-egl) were
not met:

No package 'wayland-egl' found

It must not be complete yet, maybe someone can verify and I will abandon
this path?
