We shipped a few SR71-A systems a long time ago, and we always thought
they were 3x3 MIMO. Which, datasheet claims is true. But, it also claims
max speed of 300Mbps and only up to MCS-15. Our user noticed this limitation
in their testing.
It appears I have been under the mistaken impression that 3x3 MIMO
meant MCS-23 support also existed?

Thanks,
Ben

Nope. It's a 2x2 device with 3x3 radios. It's doing transmission,
scrambling and MIMO processing on the incoming data, but it's only
doing 2 spatial streams.
(Yeah, I was bitten by that in my first 802.11 contract. I didn't
really know much about 802.11n then.)
