I don't know who keeps perpetuating this myth, but it is just that. 
"intellipower" is just another name for slow. It just means slow spindle 
speeds and clever use of caching algorithms to make it feel faster than 
it really is. It's a marketing name only. They do not, and have never 
had the ability to change speeds.
