I am using a USB mouse and i ran :
./cross-link

#define WRITE_FILE    "rtser0"
#define READ_FILE     "rtser1"

read/write files are opened and configured and bytes can be read from
the serial port, rtser1. But the mouse of the computer gets very slow
and it can barely move and when it is moved to the left , it seems it
moves to the right!
Fedora 13(CPU: Intel quad core, 32 bits) continues to work with the
keyboard though the system seems to be slower than normal.
cross-link uses RTDM and it is one of your examples.
