Hi Denys, everybody,
I guess I'm still active in a way or another, but didn't feel like
showing up at random places around the globe or filling out a form for
votes about topics I don't know about in advance once a year. When I
read the wiki page of the GA 2014, I can't even figure out what I could
have voted for, aside from new members, after it took place. So the
proxying doesn't really work, at least for me.
Regards,
Andreas

Hi, Andreas,
Thank you for replying back and letting us know that you are still active -
I'll add you to the list of people to get reinstated.
We do realize that current e.V. statutes may be a bit unfair in this regard,
that is why the Board of Directors has been working towards proposing a new
structure for the organization and drafting new bylaws. Though, major items
like this is what GA meetings are for...

[skipped a list with my name in it]
While I'm an active user and sporadically active contributor to OE,
I'm not a frequent visitor to the conferences, where GA take place :(
I tried using proxies for GA attendance, but it did not work for
various reasons. So I'm OK with being listed as an 'inactive' member.
Hoping that I will be able to become formally 'active' again, if I
become active wrt. e.V in real life.

With best wishes
