I assumed the Speex one is a pretty good quality resampler, at least unless you use a really low quality value (4 or lower). I can imagine though that the most recent ffmpeg resampler (IIRC they were writing new ones) is faster and has a better quality, given that Speex is pretty much dead. Nice to know. Rephrase it to "use the ffmpeg resample instead of the speex one, since the ffmpeg resampler gives better quality".
