Hi,

 just tested RC4 on Fedora 22.
I still get the same weird message (unknown op '{'):

Hi,

Thank you for testing and reporting the  '{' error.  Yes that is a known 
non critical error introduced by  the trace library. It doesn't affect 
at all the functionality of PowerTOP.
