Hi David,
Now that https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/7702 is merged in hammer (thank to Martin & Vicente for their help with that ;-), you are clear to propose the other backport you mentionned this week. The next round of integration tests will happen this friday, if you have it ready at that time, it will likely be in 0.94.7.
