Should be last pull with features for 2.7.
I mulled including Igor's cpu hot-unplug series, but it
appears Eduardo started merging these already.
We do want them in 2.7 I think so if I misunderstood, I might
add them on top and do another pull request tomorrow.
Hopefully not.
