Hi John,

The next jewel release as found at https://github.com/ceph/ceph/tree/jewel passed the fs suite (http://tracker.ceph.com/issues/17487#note-20 except for three valgrind failures and one java failure). Do you think the jewel branch is ready for QE to start their own round of testing ?

Yep, I don't think any of the outstanding PRs are high enough priority
to hold this up.  If for any reason we do have another round of
upstream jewel branch testing it would still be nice to pull in
https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/11656
