I downloaded grub's source and tried to begin
"hacking" around. I couldn't find my hands and legs.
Is there some guide for the beginner helping a
beginner "hacker" to alter grub a bit. If there isn't
can you please answer my few small questions?
(1) Is grub written in C or Asm? If so what's the
procedure of booting - stuck some Asm code in the MBR
to load a C bootstrap and run the real grub code?
(2) What's the general flow of action (system starts
with file1.c which uses file2.c, and finally moves to
end.c)
(3) Which version should I look at, is grub2 usable by
now? Is it simpler, or more documented?

Except is booting a system X times and then booting
the other system possible in grub2?

Thanks
