Hello !
Is it possible to use grub/grub2 to boot from a LVM Volume ?
# fdisk -l
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 9729 8225280 8e Linux LVM
# cat /etc/fstab
/dev/root_lvm/root_lv / reiserfs defaults 0 0
/dev/root_lvm/boot_lv /boot ext2 defaults 0 0
/dev/root_lvm/swap_lv swap swap defaults 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /sys sysfs defaults 0 0

There is no LVM support yet in GRUB2. Perhaps there is a LVM patch
for GRUB Legacy...
