Actually that's not needed, V4L2_CID_PIXEL_RATE is made read-only by the
control framework. See the v4l2_ctrl_fill() function (called by
v4l2_ctrl_new_std()) in drivers/media/v4l2-core/v4l2-ctrls-defs.c.
