Define a new netlink event 'error-event' and a new multicast group
'error-notify' in drm_ras. Each event contains device name, node and
error information to identify the error triggering the event.

Add drm_ras_nl_error_event() to trigger an event from the driver.
Wire this support to xe drm_ras to notify userspace whenever a GT or
SoC error occurs in PVC.

$ sudo ynl --family drm_ras --output-json --subscribe error-notify

Define a new netlink event 'error-event' and a new multicast group
'error-notify' in drm_ras. Each event contains device name, node and
error information to identify the error triggering the event.

Add drm_ras_nl_error_event() to trigger an event from the driver.
Userspace must subscribe to 'error-notify' to receive 'error-event'
notifications.

Usage:

$ sudo ynl --family drm_ras --subscribe error-notify

Define a new netlink event 'error-event' and a new multicast group
'error-notify' in drm_ras. Each event contains device name, node and
error information to identify the error triggering the event.

during xarray iteration and node lookup might cause a use-after-free.

Looking at get_node_error_counter(), drm_ras_nl_clear_error_counter_doit(),
and drm_ras_nl_list_nodes_dumpit(), they retrieve a node pointer from
drm_ras_xa:

Since xa_load() releases the RCU read lock before returning, and the caller
does not hold an outer rcu_read_lock(), could a concurrent call to
drm_ras_node_unregister() free the node and result in a use-after-free
when accessing node fields?

[Severity: High]
This isn't a bug introduced by this patch, but returning an uninitialized
stack variable could cause issues in the netlink dumpit operations.

In drm_ras_nl_list_nodes_dumpit() and drm_ras_nl_get_error_counter_dumpit(),
the local variable ret is declared without initialization:

	xa_for_each_start(&drm_ras_xa, id, node, ctx->restart) {

	}

	if (ret == -EMSGSIZE)

	return ret;

If the xarray is empty or ctx->restart is beyond the last element (such as

stack memory or causing netlink_dump() to loop indefinitely if ret happens

Could this un-ratelimited drm_err() cause console flooding and soft lockups
under memory pressure?

This function is called by hw_error_source_handler(), which iterates over
hardware errors while holding xe->irq.lock with interrupts disabled. Since
the netlink message allocation uses GFP_ATOMIC, it can fail repeatedly under
low memory conditions.

If an interrupt storm of hardware errors occurs, repeatedly printing to the
console from within a hard IRQ spinlock could heavily stall the CPU and
trigger RCU stalls or watchdogs.

Would it be safer to use drm_err_ratelimited() here, matching the behavior
of the other error logging in hw_error_source_handler()?

This looks much closer to "notify:" property, which IIUC it's not. Looking
at some of the existing examples, a better name could be something like
'error-monitor' or 'error-report' to make it a bit distinguishable.
